This photograph appears to be related to the Studebaker Corporation. The gentleman seated is holding a picture of the original Studebaker brothers from the 19th Century. The date on the photo is Friday January 25th. These are probably two VIPs which the buyer could probably identify. The standing man is also holding the old picture of the brothers. Perhaps he is a relative. T appear to be checks or letterheads on the desk which do say The Studebaker Corporation. Also interesting is that t are bars in the background. Is this a bank? Is this the bank on the calendar which reads "Bank & Trust Company of South Bend"? Or is this the payroll department of the Studebaker Corporation? Is it the 1930s? T is an old black telephone and a menu which looks like Sout Bend Knife and Fork. T is no information on the back of the photo to identify the men that I could see. On the cardboard it does say Studebaker. The frame shop foil on the back is Makielski Art Shop of South Bend, IN. The paper dust cover has been removed. T is cardboard and the photo itself, which I did not pull out, appears to be glued to a backing matt board. The frame meaures apx. 13" x 12". T is a glass cover so I couldn't get a really good picture but the photo is sharp and clean. This photo came from the estate of Henry Studebaker's grandson. Please see my other auctions for
