Up for your viewing and bidding pleasure is a handsome vintage Franklin Half-Dollar Pocketknife Commemorative Set. The beautiful wood-grained handled knife has Franklin's image and the dates 1948-1963 (the dates the Franklin Half-Dollar was minted) on the large blade. The large blade (3-1/2" lg.) is engraved with "CHEROKEE" and an Indian head at the blade base. Another blade is engraved with "SOLINGEN STEEL" on the base. One of the steel handle ends is engraved with the number 1527. The closed knife is approx. 4-1/4" long and is in new condition. The 1954 Franklin Half-Dollar (90% silver & 10% copper) is in circulated condition and worn. The box is in good condition with some minor wear - see photos. Questions welcome.
