Circa 1920s'.Absolutely gorgeous, a treasure to behold. This beautiful condition vintage Royal Rochester Perculator. The design is pattern 2632, Golden Pleasant with alot of platinum rings, edging and trim work by Fraunfelter China Company. Hand decorated Royalite.Guaranteed heat proof. Complete with beautiful Royal Rochester brillant chrome stand with bakelite feet and a gauge which lights to let you know the coffee is done. Both the lid and base shine like mirrors. The glass finial top is perfect. The Pheasant and flowers are all in bold coloring. The platium is in very good condition for its age, very little light wear. Absolutely no chips or cracks. It measures 13inches high by 9inches wide(Spout to Handle). If you are not familiar with the company. It was founded in 1900 as the ohio Pottery Company, producing chemical products. In 1915 Charles Fraunfelter became director of pottery. In 1918 he added hotelware and a true hard paste dinnerware.In 1923 the name changed to Fraunfelter China Co, purchasing American China of Chestrton, Indiana. They produced fine china for Royal Rochester ,the mark was stamped in the underglaze. In 1925 Charles died and Chesterton,Indiana plant closed. It remained closed for a time during the depression than reopened and reorganized. in 1939 the final closing FOREVER!!! To find a piece like this
