VINTAGE FRENCH SOLID BRONZE SIX LIGHT CHANDELIER - CIRCA 1940 All further photographs below the description. A beautiful Vintage French Solid Bronze Six Light Chandelier dating from the 1940's. The chandelier is in absolutely perfect condition, with the bronze having a lovely warm "old gold" patina through natural ageing. The central column of the chandelier has a magnificent regal style with intricate fine-leaf scrolling detail which I hope can be clearly seen in the photographs. The six delicate-design scrolled arms that hold the lights are beautifully decorated along their length with swirling acanthus leaves, leading to decorative bronze drip trays. I have included several photographs of the chandelier both lit and unlit that I hope do full justice to the level of detail in the design and the eye-catching appeal of this lovely 1940's vintage lighting piece. The light fittings taking standard screw-in bulbs are encased inside tall faux candle sleeves. The chandelier has been completely re-wired to function on US and European electrical systems and is in perfect working order, ready to install. The chandelier is suspended by its original bronze link chain and ceiling rose. The length of the supporting chain is easily adjustable so that the overall drop of the chandelier can be altered if required. A beautiful 1940's Bronze Six
