Vintage French Linen Metis Panel 79x120" Heavy 100 year Ref CW This is a listing for one vintage French panel. Made from smooth linen metis (an ancient blend of linen and cotton). This is heavy, crisp, smooth, fabric. It has a centre seam which shows that it was loomed on the narrow looms which were replaced in this part of France in 1908, so it is over 100 years old. It has a tiny MB monogram in red cross stitch which is located to the right of the centre seam. This is a laundry mark. This would make excellent drapes! Colour: White . Dimensions : 79" 200cm wide by 120" or 304cm long Weight 1.67kg or 3.68lbs Condition: Very good condition . It has a patch of the same fabric which measures 5"x5". It has a couple of tiny rust dots, a tiny hole, and a tiny repair - do see the photos. I have boxes of these linen panels which had been laundered and neatly folded and stored. All these panels came from a Nun's estate sale, and in typical French fashion, nothing goes to waste. Please see my other listings for bundles of panels.
