Vintage French Pure Linen Panel 76x116" Texture 1908 Ref CS This is a listing for one vintage French panel. Made from openweave textured linen with lots of slubs. Because it is openweave the light passes through it, so this would make excellent drapes. It has a centre seam which shows that it was loomed on the narrow looms which were replaced in this part of France in 1908, so it is over 100 years old. It has a tiny monogram which is probably a laundry mark. The ID3 monogram is in red cross stitch and located to the right of the central seam. Crunchy crispy fabric. Colour: White . Dimensions : 76" 194cm wide by 116" or 298cm long Weight 1.47kg or 3.2lbs Condition: There are a couple of faint dots, and a couple of small holes on the edge - do see the photos. I have boxes of these linen panels which had been laundered and neatly folded and stored. All these panels came from a Nun's estate sale, and in typical French fashion, nothing goes to waste. Please see my other listings for bundles of panels. Some of the large panels may have been sheets originally, and some have seams where pieces have been joined together to make a larger piece.
