The cross itself is wood and the base and figures are heavy plaster. The details are wonderful with lacey bronze filigree surrounding the cross and great sculptur of Jesus. It measures 17" high and about 7" wide. T is some chipping to the base. One could just imagine this gracing some quaint french church. I have just returned from a fabulous Belgium market!
