This is an excellent vintage FRY OVEN GLASS casserole Dish with Lid and Metal Carrier. Such a neat hard to find piece of glassware - that is 100% still useable and ready to add to any Kitchen or collection! The Dish is marked FRY on the Lid and has the # 1932-9 -D. The bottom casserole dish is marked FRY OVENGLASS 1932-9 PAT. 5-8-17 PAT. 5-27-19. Both the lid and dish are in very good condition with the exception of 1 very small chip inside the inside rim of the dish - see photo #5 - you have to look hard to see it! (it is not sharp in any way!) The glass in a unique opalescent that looks like vaseline glass to me - I tried to make it glow under a black light, but it does not! The dish measures 9 1/2" wide X 7" oval shape and 4" tall. It also comes with the Metal Holder / Carrier that has a pretty rose flower design in it. With or without the carrier it is a great piece!
