VINTAGE FULL-SIZED ANTONIUS STRADIVARIUS MODEL VIOLIN. You are bidding for an old full-sized Antonius Stradivarius model violin.The label inside the instrument reads: “Copy of Antonius Stradivarius” I am uncertain of the violin’s origins but I believe the instrument was made in the early to mid 1900s. I have taken a number of pictures which attempt to show the condition of this instrument. There are a few scratches and dents, which you might expect of an instrument of this age, but there are no cracks or repairs to either the upper or lower surfaces. The violin has a most pleasing vibrant tone throughout its full range. The soundpost is in position and the instrument is “ready to play”. It would be an ideal violin for players of any ability. The length of the two-pieced back is 14 inches and the total length of the violin is 23 ½ inches. There is a bow with this instrument but it will require rehairing. The violin will be shipped in a sturdy modern full-sized zipped case, which is in very good condition. The case has a blue interior and black fabric exterior.
