Furnivals England 1913 "Blue Quail"12-Ounce Milk Jug or Pitcher Up for auction is a beautiful old Milk Pitcher in the blue version of the highly collectible "Furnivals Quail" pattern, first introduced in 1913. The pitcher measures 4-5/8" high by 5" spout-across-handle and holds 12 ounces. It is backmarked with the old round logo shown below and the Rd No 684771, dating production to 1921. Condition: Excellent vintage-to-antique condition with a high gloss and no chips or cracks. There is allover glaze crazing characteristic of the age and type of pottery.
