Ladies and gentlemen, for your consideration is a rare and highly desirable matched quad of vintage GEC KT88s, with their respective date codes clearly visible on the glass. Please note that eight pictures have been taken in order to show clear images of the same tube from different angles, but there are only four tubes available, which are a matched quad. You will be able to identify each tube from its respective date code and test measurements. As you know, it is becoming harder and harder to find these tubes, particularly used ones in as nice condition as these. Therefore, this is your opportunity now to acquire these rare and desirable vintage tubes from the famous M-O Valve Company Ltd in Hammersmith, London. These tubes were installed as NOS in 2010, and have since only had light use in my KT88 tube amp. They have been tested both sonically and also via the usual measurement parameters, on a fully calibrated AVO 163 tube tester (see measurements listed below). Sonically, they have a signature that is unique to vintage GECs, which is that they possess a sweetness and clarity, with superb extension at frequency extremes, and a beautiful tone and musicality that no modern current production tubes can emulate.
