We'll be putting up several old vintage early american photos in the next few weeks, so keep an eye open. This is the coolest shot I've seen of an early 20th century hardware, general, mercantile store. A great interior view of the H. C. Buss & Co. store in Rockham, South Dakota. (Circa 1929) On the back of the photo are the names of the three people in the shot, the customer Mrs. Goken, the owner Herb Buss, and the clerk Ember Offerdahl. The writing on the back is in pencil if you would like to erase it. I'm not an expert on this type of thing so I don't know exactly what to call this photo. Obviously it's Black & White, it measures 9 7/8" by almost 8" total. The photo itself is 61/2" by 4 5/8" + a white border. The backing, matboard? is really stiff and solid. The photo itself is in great shape for something that's 80 years old. This is a gem for anyone who collects old B&W photos, Historical items, Interior views of old stores, or just Collectible American Memorabilia. This photo will be sent USPS 1st class mail, packed in a bubble mailer, within 2 business days of confirmed payment.
