Hello and thank you for your interest in this item! I have a new addition to the family and need to sell off most of my beloved shaving gear...Vintage George Plum Diamond Edge straight razor. Blade width is 3/4". It is a wedge with a barbers notch. Heavy blade. The tang has a deep and clear stamp and reads "George Plum 3 Dolphin Street Bristol".The Blade is stamped "Diamond Edge". The scales are horn with no cracks or chips. The wedge is lead. The blade centers yet the pivot pin could use some taps. Jimps on top and bottom.This is a beautiful peace of work, and from Bristol too! I think it is the only one Ive ever owned from Bristol and now Im wondering if I should even sell it. lol hehehe ugh! :) Dont let it sit in a box.Will need to be honed.Please ask any questions you wish and Ill try to answer them the best I can. These are antique items and unless specified are not new and will naturally have defects that come with age. That said, I will try to describe them well and will answer questions as best I can.Thank you, :)
