This is an elegant but very practical German 835 silver tea ball or infuser. The egg shaped ball can be opened to put loose tea inside and has a chain with a hook so that it can be hung from the rim of a teapot or cup. The teaball measures 2.25" long and the chain measures 4.75" It is in excellent condition with no damage and weighs 32 grams. Both halves of the ball are marked with the German .835 hallmark and the bottom half is also marked E.SCH. A great gift idea for the tea drinker on your list!
