Vintage Black Forest 1-DAY (30 hour) Cuckoo Clock in very nice condition. This clock runs very well and keeps good time, has a cuckoo bird, which pops out of his door every half-hour; he cuckoos once on the half-hour and counts the hours on the hour. Prior to his familiar “cuckoo” song, the clock chimes on a gong. When the cuckoo sings, the bird bobs up and down, then goes back in and slams the door! Also you can see the carved leaf pendulum swing with each passing second. This clock was made in the Black Forest of West Germany. This clock features wood carvings, three leaves on the front, one leaf on the pendulum and two leaves and a bird with a glass eye on the top. has a The pendulum slides up and down to control the speed and slow the clock.
