Presented to you this day is a beautiful Vintage German Bisque Heubach Piano Baby laying on her tummy. She has the number # 436 impressed on her bottom side. Exceptional facial and overall details have been given to this magnificent piano baby. This cutie has blond hair, rosy red cheeks and a very sweet adorable face. She is wearing a white outfit with soft yellow trim at the neck line and a small pink bow on her shoulder. There are no nicks, chips, scratches, missing paint or repairs anywhere that I can see. Considering it's age it is in Excellent condition. This is truly an estate find treasure. Does not come with original box or paperwork as it was purchased from a private estate sale where it was proudly displayed in owner's glass enclosed showcase for many years. Owner was a life long collector of Heubach piano babies. This darling little piano baby measures approximately 12" long. The Story Behind A Piano Baby:Most well-decorated Victorian parlors of the late 1800s and early 1900s had pianos draped with shawls. Something decorative was needed to hold those fabrics in place.
