Vintage German Lusterware 10 Pc Spice Jar Set 1890's

Up for bid is a beautifully stunning lusterware condiment set of 10 pieces, all with lids. T is a salt bin (with hole for hanging on the wall), an oil and vinegar cruet set, coffee and tea canisters, and 5 spice jars. All have a very colorful lusterware finish with a beautiful orange poppy stencil on their fronts. They were made in Austria Ca. the late 1890's to early 1920's by the Michael Powolny China, Co. All pieces are in excellent condition, with no cracks or chips, except the nutmeg spice jar, it has a chunk out of the back top, and a hairline in it's lid, it can be displayed without the missing chunk being noticed. All pieces are marked "PM, MEPOCO Ware, Made in Germany". The larger pieces have an impressed "B" on the bottoms, and some have numbers in gold. The oil and vinegar cruets are the tallest pieces at 9 1/4" tall, and the salt bin is 4 1/2" wide. This is one of the very nicest condiment sets we've ever seen, with a beautiful myriad of colors. Very impressive! If we make an occasional mistake, we will own up to it. You can bid with confidence. Reasonable wear may be expected on some of the vintage items we sell, please understand this.
