This is a lot of 3 very nicely made German pocket knives, two of them are vintage knives and the other is a Bertram Cutlery Hen & Rooster in near mint condition. I will describe the knives starting with the Hen & Rooster at the top of picture #1. It measures 3 inches closed and has never been used, carried or sharpened. The handles are what I think are "Micarta Black" and have no cracks or chips in them. I am not 100% certain of the handle material but the rear tang is stamped 281MB which leads me to beleive it is Micarta. The single blade is nicely frost etched with the famous "HEN & ROOSTER" and the famous logo of the two birds. The front tang is stamped with the trademark Hen & Roosters and "Solingen Germany" below them. The rear tang is stamped "BERTRAM,CUTLERY,ROSTFREI,281 MB" in 4 lines. The blade is nice and tight with very good snap opening and closing. It also has brass pins and liners. Very nice little knife!! The second knife to the bottom left in pic#1 is a vintage sterling silver Diamond Knife Co Germany. It measures 2 1/8 inches closed. The handles are sterling silver which are stamped "sterling" just underneath the front right pin (very hard to see without a glass). It has nice designs in the handles.
