Vintage German Porcelain Victorian Woman Lamp Base Made In Germany. I'm not sure who the maker is, but it is definitely a very fine piece. The woman figurine is a fine porcelain or none China, which has a very ornate and colorful colors and folds which glistens from the fine glazing. The woman's face is extremely detailed and clearly an artisan put in a lot of time hand painting this piece. The base condition is excellent (No chips or cracks). The base is clearly part of a lamp, though it could be used as decoration and kept as a figurine. I acquired the piece with the lamp post only. The post is 12" high and screws in the base behind the woman and invisible from the front. I took it to a lamp ship to see if they could let me m ow the difficulty in restoring it to working condition. They said it would be quiet easy and cheap and could be done in no time. This is a very cool antique and would be a great project for someone to restore/customize or for a conquering collector who just wants to keep the beautiful woman figurine the way she is!Please see photos, and message with questions.Thanks for looking!
