This mold was made in Germany but is not marked (light pencil marks with numbers and a letter on the back). It is likely from the early 1900's to probably no later than the 1940's. It can be used for Springerles, Speculaas, Gingerbread or Shortbreads. It can also be used for dough ornaments, paper castings and beeswax ornaments. It is best suited for a softer dough like springerle or gingerbread. Please refer to measurements above .**This mold features a lovely handcarved, ornate European Cathedral complete with 3 spires, a cross on top of the tallest spire, an arched doorway, a clock, many windows and extremely detailed markings on the building facade and roof. The Cathedral Mold makes a medium-sized rectangular cookie. There are no noticeable imperfections on the front side of the mold - perhaps a few light tool marks and the wood grain line on the top right (not a crack - just the natural variation of the wood). There are some nicks on the back. It still makes a beautiful print. The last 2 photos show cookies made for read more
