Set 1 is the round goldtone earrings, they are 1 1/4" accross. The whole backing is goldtone also and they are clip ons. The stone? in the center is like a purple with pearlescent mixed around in it. These have the word GERMANY on the back under the clip. Set 2 is the set with the three leaves. They are goldtone 1 " wide and 1 1/2" tall. The single leaf is the one that points down when you wear it. They have the word GERMANY on the clip itself. They seem to be made out of many single strand wires made into these leaves. Some of the wires are not perfectly straight and have been straightened back into the design. Set 3 is the purple flower shaped petals with gold trim around each petal. Each petal is separate but connected together by something? They are just a tiny bit over 1" across and they are clip ons. These have the fancy clip-on clip that has patterns on both sides and they have the PAT #1967965. The research I found on the net said that this dates back to 1934. It says the p atent is for clip mechanism, granted July 1934, E Morehouse and M Moore, assignors to Ballou Corp of RI. Design, construction, and non-use of Sterling date this to before 1942. This clips are goldtone also.
