This is a Vintage Gerz German Stein. It is ceramic with picture etchings of musicians in Middle Age period dress. It does have a paint flaw see pics (looks like the artist was bumped). The top has "Prosit" written on top and the lid is ceramic with a pewter hinge. The bottom has the early Gerz mark as well as the number 262. Under the lid on the actual stein it looks like the name Billy is in English style (not sure and i couldn't get the camera to catch it as you really have to go up close. The coloring is beautiful with no nicks or chips that I can see. I have another piece like it with another picture that I will be also auctioning later. Insurance is strongly advised on this piece. Because of the weight shipping will be priority and at the flat rate. Handling fee included.
