VINTAGE GIBSONS TEAPOT We received a large collection of vintage glass, pottery, collectibles, dolls and fabrics from a collector who needs to downsize. This teapot is cadet blue with a raised leaf pattern in white and gold gilt handle, spout and trim. It was made by Gibsons in Staffordshire England c. 1950s. The teapot measures 9.5" from spout to handle and 5" high. There is a foil sticker that says Gibsons Staffordshire England World Famous English Teapot. It is also stamped on the bottom Gibsons Staffordshire England. There is a flaw in the firing which is shown in the picture. It is a crack in the glaze and is located under the handle. The crack is in the glaze only and does not go through to the inside. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches, and comes from a smoke free home.
