Up for bid is a " GILBERT & BARKER " (G&B) Sinclair Bulk Oil Lubester Tank and Pump. It holds 58 gallons according to the measuring rod (perhaps 60 gallons if filled to the very top). The pump is unique in that it has a clock-face type dial indicator . The pump is free and it has the original wooden knob on the pump handle. The tank is 29" wide X 13" deep, and it stands 38" from the floor to the top of the tank, and is 65" overall from the floor to the top of the pump. It has been been given a fresh coat of paint and is one clean unit, having no major dents or holes. It has the measuring stick and the original strainer, and has small decals on the pump and on the lid and a larger decal on the front body of the tank. The very bottom of the tank has a rusted out area (please see the picture). This is an exceptionally clean and straight unit with good paint coverage.

This Oil Pump belongs to Mr. Kenneth Boyd of Roosevelt , Oklahoma , and he is the one who found and repainted it. Mr. Boyd is 77 years old and has lived all of his life on the farm that has been in his family for over 100 years. He has been restoring petroleum products for several years now, having restored approximately 85 gravity-flow gas pumps to date (among other restoration projects).
