This was purchased at an estate sale and looks to be pretty much complete. This says it is the Gilbert Chemical Magic Set No. 12131 . There are two books in here, one is the Gilbert fun with chemistry book with about 245 pages and the other is a porter experiment manual book that has a title as Chemical Magic the same as this Gilbert set. So I am not sure if these two companies combined at one time or if someone just mixed these two together as even the test tubes are marked Pyrex Gilbert and another is marked Pyrex porter. But otherwise the chemicals look to all be here, a couple have some age wear on them but the rest look fine. The interior of the case on one side has some rust, otherwise is nice.
