This is a Ginny Doll from my own collection from my childhood. She was never played with, always displayed in a cabinet. My dolls were packed away after I was married and she has spent many years stored in a box with the rest of my dolls. This little blonde beauty is listed on page 95 of the "Collector's Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls 2nd edition" by Izen and Stover. She is listed as Carol from the Kindergarten Kiddies series. She is wearing a yellow organdy dress trimmed with lace medallions and yellow bows. There is no tag on the dress. There are matching panties with elastic that is stretched. She has her original yellow socks and white center snap shoes. She still has her original hair bows stapled to her head. She is able to stand by herself with no stand. The only flaw is a rust spot by the hook and eye on the back of the dress as shown on photo. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.
