Up for auction is a 24 lb. Gladiola flour sack in its original unwashed condition. Gladiola flour was manufactured by Fant Milling Co. in Sherman, TX. I bought this sack from an estate of a man who was over 100 years old who lived near the Stockyards of old Fort Worth. I suspect that he actually purchased and used the flour that was sold in this sack! I have other items from his estate up for auction as well. This sack is in very good condition. It has some general age discoloration spots throughout. The seams of the sack have been removed and it measures 25 inches by 26 inches. *Some quilts that I sell, I have cleaned using a non-chlorine detergent or cleaned in such a way to not affect the overall integrity of the piece. I will disclose whether I have cleaned the item or not. **All of my listings for items that are fabric have been checked for stains, tears, wear, etc. keeping in mind that most of these pieces are old. I have tried to describe any issues to the best of my ability. What may seem insignificant to me may be of utmost importance to you so please ask questions! I try to respond in a timely manner.
