Vintage Billiken - "The God of Things As They Ought To Be" from our candy container collection. Circa 1908. He's all glass - blown bottle . He's about 4-1/4" tall with tons and tons of awesome original gold paint and even has original red paint on his hair. Original closure. Glass is all in super shape - especially for these old blown bottles - except he has a worn hole in his little right toe - you can see it in the last photo. He has so much original paint, I almost missed the hole in his foot. He's so great and so old and you don't often see this guy, especially with all this original paint. So check out the pictures and see if you'd like to add Billiken to your collection. Inscribed around base "Billiken - The God Of Things As They Ought To Be" and in circle on base " Patent Design - 39603". If you have the reference books he is E&A #90 and DPP #192.
