Vintage Glass Ceiling Fixture Chandelier Fixture is in very good condition and working order. It is clean an ready to install. Fixture is approx. 45 years old. The shade is frosted glass and the column is pressed glass. The prisms and beading are glass. The shade is not cracked or chipped. I have not noticed any chips on the prisms. T are 8 small prisms around the top measuring approx 2.25 inches long including the top bead. T are 8 large prisms around the shade measuring approx. 2.75 inches long including the top bead. The shade measures approx. 14 inches diameter and is approx. 3.5 inches deep. The filigree banding and the finial on the bottom are brass. The chain is brass plated steel. The canopy is brass and measures approx. 5 inches diameter across the top. The pressesd glass column and bobeche are pressesd glass and measures approx. 8 inches tall. The glass bobeche at the top has a small age crack from one of the holes to the lip edge of the bobeche. This is very small and next to the wire of the prism. It poses no problem and is not noticeable. The bakelite sockets are original. The wire is new. Fixture uses 3 standard base bulbs. The overall drop from the ceiling to the bottom of the finial is approx.18.5 inches and the overall drop from the ceiling to the bottom of the large prisims is approx. 20 inches.
