HUGE 5-PIECE VINTAGE PRESSED GLASS STACKING APOTHECARY SODA FOUNTAIN CANDY JAR GORGEOUS and HUGE, VINTAGE PRESSED GLASS STACKING APOTHECARY JAR / CANDY JAR / CANISTER / COMPOTE with LID COVER / CANDY DISH. I don't know the glassmaker or the exact age, possibly Indiana Glass. My best guess would be mid century, about 30-40 years old. The jar consists of a large bottom/base section, 3 smaller candy dish sections and a pointed finial lid. Very hard to find with the APPROPRIATE BASE PIECE! Unique piece of old pharmacy/drug store soda fountain, ice cream parlor, cafe, diner, general store counter memorabilia! An ideal display piece to show off your Easter candies! :-) HUGE SIZE: There are FOUR SECTIONS + THE LID. COMBINED height of about 15-1/4" TALL! The individual sections each measure 6" diameter x 2-1/4" tall. The BIG BASE measures 5-1/4" tall x 6" diameter at the mouth x 6-3/4" diameter at the bottom. Each section sits inside the other sections and rests on a ridge. The stack is very stable, no fear of toppling over. The glass is thick, sturdy, and bright, and the pattern is very deeply and crisply pressed. This is a HEAVY stacking jar...weighing in at over 8-1/2 POUNDS before packing! This is a SERIOUS jar! :-) EXCELLENT CONDITION! NO CRACKS! She DOES have a couple small areas of MINOR roughness to the mouths of two of the small read more
