Large Goebel Figurine of a Doberman Pinscher I am offering for salethis amazing large Goebel Figure of a Doberman Pinscher. The figure is stampedGoebel West Germany indicating a date of 1979-1990 and the numbers 3003036 on the inside of its rear hind quarter. I see no chips or imperfections. While most people are aware of the name of Goebel in connection with the highly prized Hummel figures this piece is definitely not overshadowed by them. This really is an amazing piece and could grace any home, or be a fantastic addition to any Goebel collection. It would also be a must have for any collector of canine ceramics. It would additionally make a fantastic gift for any Doberman lover. According to Goebel this model number was 'sculpted by sculptor Jochen Bauer' and was not produced after 1992 This is an exceptionally large piece measuring aprox 13.75" inches tall and 18.25" inches long in length and is in excellent condition. This is not a resin dog, or run of the mill figuerine, this really is a quality piece. Made of German porcelain.
