This listing is for a very collectible vintage Goebel Hummel Figurine -- it is called "Just Resting" ~ it was modeled by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1938 ~ this piece has TMK#4 on the base which means it probably dates back to the 1960's. Note the direction of the basket at her feet ~ the base has the incised date, 1938! This is the companion piece to Hummel # 111 "Wayside Harmony", which I am also selling, please see my other auctions if you are interested in both pieces! This figurine stands approximately 3 5/8" tall and is in excellent condition; no cracks, chips, or repairs ~ the piece does have some crazing which is common in the older Goebel Hummel pieces. The base marking is shown for your inspection -- I have photographed it from all sides ~ a wonderful estate find and a great addition your collection!
