We have for your viewing and bidding pleasure a vintage GOLDEN AGE superhero comic book with a .10 cent cover price.It is titled GREEN LANTERN and is a SUPERMAN DC PUBLICATION.The comic is a rather low issue NO. 26 JUNE-JULY 1947.In the lower left hand corner of the front cover it has the artist name HASEN.Under the title GREEN LANTERN it has REG. U.S. PAT. OFF..We are not expert comic book graders but will try to describe the condition as best as we can.At the top of the comic in pencil notations t is a date and a number which was put t by the store that originally sold the comic.The spine has just started to roll.It shows wear,tattering and creasing with a few splits.The upper top and lower bottom of spine shows wear with alittle tear at the bottom and alittle piece missing at the top.Also to the right of the spine edge some of the red graphics are worn off,but not clear through the front cover paper.The upper right hand corner of the front cover has acouple creased bends.The right hand edge has an 1/8",1/4" and a 1/2" tear.On the lower right hand bottom of the front cover and all of the inner pages except one,a small amount of the corner has been chewed off.The front inner and back inner covers have light age discoloration.On the back cover t is a small bend crease on the upper left hand corner with a 1/16" and 1/8" tear on the top upper edge.T is a 1/16" tear on the left edge.The bottom edge has alittle bending and light tearing from 1/16",1/32" and 1/8".All the inner pages have a 1/2" tear 2 5/8" down from the top right hand edge.These 1/2" tears are on the border edge.Half the way into the comic which does not have the bottom corner chewed off has a bend on the lower right hand corner area with a small stain on the border edge and a 1/8" tear.The next page has acouple little light stained areas and has an 1/8" tear on the bottom edge as does the next page in the same area.The comic also has a printed story and vintage advertising.We have photo'd the cover and several other inner pages to give interested parties some idea of the content and condition of the comic.None of the inner pages are loose or missing.The comic is complete and readable.We are listing this GREEN LANTERN comic book at a no reserve selling price.So,thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
