Beautiful native Polynesian ceramic female figurine from Gonder Ceramic Arts Pottery, Zanesville Ohio. Tropical leaves and hibiscus flower rise up from a scalloped edge base. She has a flower in her hair and a two piece outfit on. Dark green glaze. Marked on back of base with date of 1950. Size: 13.25" tall and her cross pole is 10". Comes with two ceramic gourd shaped hanging pots. A couple of tiny glaze nicks to the scalloped edge of base. (See picture). One small black mark on base (pictured). No chips or cracks to pottery and no crazing to glaze. In VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT condition. Please see my other auction for the companion piece to this one, a man. Being sold separately for those who are only interested in one. Last picture is of the pair together. Buyer to pay ACTUAL shipping cost, no handling fees. Packed up is over 6#'s.
