A great pair of spurs for the old west collector. These spurs do not have any maker stamp on them they were obviously made by a craftsman who understood the art. They show lots of use but no abuse. T are several spots that have started to rust and lots of dirt and grim that I could wash off but I would prefer to leave that job up to the buyer. The spurs measure as follows" overall length is 6", rowel end is 2 1/2" long and the heel band is 3 1/2"long and 3" wide on the band. The rowel measures 1 1/8" with a 5 point star. The three hearts on each spur are nickel silver and measure 5/8" and each spur has a 3/4" nickel silver fixed button, each of which has been bent, probably in order to make it easier to get the spur strap on it. The "goose neck" decoration is a piece of copper with the head of the goose being nickel silver. Both spurs are mounted on just one side of the spur with the decoration. These spurs are very "western" in their appearance and would make a great addition to your collection. Thanks for looking at this auction.
