Lovely EX - GPO 332 BakeliteTelephone FULLY REFURBISHED AND CONVERTED FOR MODERN DAY USE Very nice example of the classic 332 Bakelite telephone. The condition of this phone is well above the normal and just has a few light scratches. These phones are extremely robust and so well made that they should last for many more years. The body and handset are in really very good clean condition as can be seen in the pictures . The baseplate is undamaged inside and out, with all the rubber feet in good condition. The cheesedrawer contains a reproduction dial code card. The phone has been completely refurbished and converted for use on today's BT plug and socket system. A rectifier has been fitted to prevent acoustic shocks and the bell circuit modified to make it compatible with other phones in your house. Just plug it in and it’s ready to use with BT or any other supplier that supports pulse dialling. The original No. 12 dial has been stripped, cleaned, lubricated and adjusted to ensure it runs smoothly at the correct speed. The handset cord is the original cotton cord and the plug-in line cord is a standard brand new black plastic one. Speech on this phone is very clear and although not perfect is probably superior to some of the modern budget phones that many people use.
