This auction is for a statue of a large dog. It looks like a Great Dane to us, but we are no experts on the many breeds of dogs.

This statue is a cast metal with a copper/bronze patina (see pic). He weighs 2 pounds 6.6 ounces!

The dog measures approximately 8 inches from the tip of his tail to the front of his chest. He stands 7 1/4 inches high from his front paws to the tip of his ear.

This is highly detailed piece. The strong muscular structure and folds in the skin, make this piece very realistic and life-like. The facial expression shows an attentive and focused animal ready to obey a command.
