This one is hard-to-find advertising clock featuring GREAT FALL SELECT FINE BEER. The sign was made by the Ohio Advertising Display Company and the clock mechanism by General Electric - the clock has a bakelite body - the face of the clock is just over 8 inches across. It has a metal body and glass display face plate. The lighted face, it does work, have some flaws in the paint - a small spot with the paint worn and some age crinkling - the pictures tell the story. Over all the metal portion of the sign is in good to very good condition - very little paint loss - no rusting. The face and the glass on the clock are very good - the clock is going to require some work as it does not want to start - I will leave that up to the new owner. The sign measures approximately 20 inches across and 18 1/2 inches high. According to the previous owner the clock was placed in the Pensioner Bar on Centre Street in Great Falls in 1948. The clock was owned by the same family until recently when it made its way to Canada. I take great care in preparing items for shipping and a $12.00 packaging fee will be charged on this item in addition to the actual postage fee. A great addition to any collection!
