This is a wonderful wall lamp or sconce for your kitchen, or wver you need a little vintage attitude. The base is made from a yellow-green ceramic with a floral pattern, the switch is a deco design made out of what Iooks like bakelight, and the original shade is out of either parchment or fiberglass (or a combo of both?) with stitching around the edges for that little something extra. Yes, the lamp works! Dare I say it - - light up your life and bid on this unique item! For those of you checking back, I forgot to include the measurements the first time around... The lamp with shade and base together stand roughly 14" tall. The ceramic base plate is 4" wide x 6-1/2" high, the bulb socket is 3" tall. The shade is 7" tall, the top opening is fairly round with a 5" diameter, and the bottom opening is 8-1/4" wide x 6-1/2" deep.
