This is a vintage or antique lamp. It looks to be from an Asian origin. The body of the lamp is pottery with two foo dog? handles. The glaze on the lamp ranges from a pretty dark green with lines or stripes in it to a lighter green with more uniform color but with small spots and lines in it. The glaze on the lamp is actually darker and more rich in color than my pictures show but with the flash from the camera it was really hard to show the real darker color of the glaze.The pottery part is in great condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. It does have some tiny pits, spots and bumps that were done in production and glazed over. Just the pottery part of the lamp measures about 10 3/4" tall and about 23" all the way around the fattest part. The lamp has a double wood base, cap and ball finial. The whole lamp measures 24" or 2 feet tall to the top of the wood ball finial. The lamp has an old cloth covered cord with the older straight pronged plug. The cord is in good condition but the rubber on the plug is badly cracked and will need to be replaced. I did plug the lamp in and it worked fine with the red and black on/off push switch.This is just a really neat odd looking antique or vintage lamp.Payment is expected within 5 days.
