A excellent badge to add to your collection!!!!! This badge is from the GREYHOUND LINES and is listed in the STRAY HOUND COLLECTION. I did some research on Google and found that this style was originally issued to Central Greyhound Lines Operator ROBERT O. WILSON in the Spring of 1949 and his # was C-3 & HIS badge is now a Badge of Honor in the Stray Hound Collection. This particular vintage bus driver's cap badge is chrome plated & is made from a thin metal, possibly tin. On the back of the badge t are twin brass studs & nuts. One is intact & very secure but t is one stud missing but both nuts & cardboard washers are t(Please see photo). Other then the one stud that is missing this badge is in excellent condition. The badge is a very bright dark blue enameled paint. The words "GREYHOUND LINES COAST-TO-COAST" is pressed out from the back for high-lighting as is the plaque for engraving. The plaque has not been engraved. A marvelous find and a "MUST HAVE" for you!!!!!!!!!!This badge measures 2-5/8" in length & 2-1/2" wide at the widest point.COMBINED SHIPPING AVAILABLE!!!!!!!
