I am offering for auction A VINTAGE GRISWOLD CAST IRON NO. 7 TITE-TOP DUTCH OVEN WITH THE LID. I obtained this old Griswold dutch oven at an estate sale and it is in VERY GOOD CONDITION. The oven has obviously been used and has some rust. The rust is not serious. It is not flaking and I am sure it can be re- seasoned and cleaned up with some minor effort. The inside of the lid has the following " PATENTED FEB. 10. 1920. GRISWOLD ERIE PA, U.S. 2604 ". The bottom of the dutch oven has " THE GRISWOLD MFG. CO CAST IRON GRISWOLD TITE-TOP BASTER PATENTED MAR 18 1923 ( I think ! ) ERIE , PA. , U.S.A. 2603 " The Griswold is 4" tall ( without the lid on ) and is 11" from handle to handle.
