Let this vintage gumball machine take you back to that little grocery store we all have visited so many times as a kid. This fine machine stands Approximately 37 inches tall with a globe 7 " wide and 7 " r ound. Fill this up with your favorite gumballs or nuts and show the kids that saving money is not only fun but tastes good too. It takes pennies up to quarters. Holds as much as 4 pounds of gumballs. To remove the money deposited, you unscrew the lid, remove the globe and the money is sitting right under the steel body. No need for tools to remove, everything just untwists. The slot w the gum/nuts comes out of has a plastic guard to keep your treat from falling onto the floor. As with anything old, this machine does have a couple of flaws. T are several small nicks in the red paint. They add character and do not take away from the overall beauty of this item. On one leg of the stand, in the back of the machine, t are scratches in one small grouping in the black paint , again, hardly noticable. I have also noticed t a a couple of small air bubbles that are IN the glass.
