This is a vintage Grundig Satellit 6001 radio. This was recently found in the back of a closet from an estate purchase. This radio is in remarkable shape and thats mostly due to the German quality. This thing is solid and was built to last. Everything functions extremely well. I am not an expert on these radios but I ran through the FM, AM, and the Shortwave, and Longwave bands and they are all operating. Dials are all smooth. Antena extends up 57 inches from the radio top and pivots to be multi directional. Very cool! No batteries were left in the radio and there is zero corrosion. This even has the old European plug on it but even comes with an attachment plug for American outlets. This is a rare find of a unique German made radio. The only thing I can see wrong with it are a few scuffs on the black plastic on top that covers the dials. Nothing that takes away from the function of the radio. This radio weighs 15 pounds so shipping charges are reflected in that. I can't just shove this radio in a flat rate box. If you have any questions, please message me before you bid.
