Payment | Policies VINTAGE *GUEST OF HONOR* TABLECLOTH Palm/Cactus Flowers I believe the Tablecloth is Cotton and despite some yellowish staining, I would still say it is in Very Good Condition with no rips, holes, tears or fraying. The Colors are bright and vivid with no fading and it comes to you from a Smoke-Free Environment. The great Graphics make this a most desirable Cloth. The Tablecloth measures 51âe x 55âe and has 2 selvage and 2 non-selvage Sides. This is in the Book "Elegant Table Linens from Weil & Durrse Including Wilendurs" by Michelle Hayes on Page 69 w she describes it as "Unusual design of cactus, palm trees, cannas and orchids mixed with others on an all around border. Artist: John Madsen Desing sate: 1940". It is White with a Maroonish Red Border. Growing out of the Border t are all sorts of Flowers âe" Tropical and Non-Tropical as well as Palm Trees, Cactus, Leaves and Grasses. They are all done in Reds, Greens, Blues and Yellow and many of the Colors are overdyed adding some striking hues and tones. The Original Label reads âeoeGUEST OF HONOR Hand Printed Fast Colorsâe. I have never seen another Tablecloth like this and I am willing to bet a soaking in your âeoesecret recipeâe will restore this to itâe(tm)s original splendor.
