Vintage Gundlach Optical 8x10 Korona VI Folding Plate Camera with Volute ShutterFor auction is a 8x10 Korona VI Folding Plate Field Camera.The outside leather covering shows age, leather cracking, and some missing leather. I tried to take pictures of the outside to show exterior condition.The inside wood is in very good condition. The camera has nickel trim. The nickel track on the camera bed shows some scuffing from use.The red bellows appear to be in good condition with some partial cracking on the inside of the camera.All the knobs seem to be in working order.The shutter is a Volute Shutter with a Voigtlander Collinear III #56995The shutter does open but is quite sluggish and sticky. The optics are clear.This is a big camera. Closed dimensions: 12" High x 11-3/4" Wide x 7-1/2 " Deep. Open dimensions: 12" High x 11-3/4" Wide x 31" LengthThis is display camera.Shipping will be estimated because of its size.Email if any questions and check out my other auctions.Email I double checked the front and rear elements under a bright light and there is some separation that I did not see before.
