This is an unusual Gentlemans Box with a Gutta Percha Top. It has a nice cameo design of a horse framed in beading and fan shaped design in each corner. The word WARDS is on the front of the wood part of the box.The inside has a paper label that reads H. Lederer & Sons Dealering in Clothing, Hats, Caps and Gents; Furnishing Goods, 145 Washington Ave., Lansing, Minchigan. The material in the bottom of the box does not look original and can be removed. I am also not sure if the label is for real or someone put that in the lid. The bakelite is in good condition and the box measures 2 1/8 inches tall 4 3/4" square. A very fine piece. I accept money order personal check and paypal. Shipping handling and insurance to be paid for by the buyer. I ship every 7 to 10 days.
