This auction is for a vintage GWTW style large ball shade for your banquet or electric lamp base. I purchased this item as a complete lamp however the base was damaged so my bad luck may turn in to your good luck if you happen to have a base in good condition. This item also looks great displayed on an old banquet oil lamp base and I included a pic but please note the auction is for the shade only. It features three large hand painted red roses surrounded by green leaves. In between the roses is a raised wagon design with what looks like wheat surrounding the wagon. The top and bottom has a raised design that cascades from the openings. The color is opalescent milk glass fading into pink at the top and bottom. The wagon design has a blush or pale peach color highlight. The size is 9 1/2" high, 3 1/2" top, and 4" bottom. The condition is excellent no chips, cracks, or scratches. It does have the expected ruffness to the top and bottom openings and it will need a more thorough cleaning. It is a beautiful old shade just needs the right base to be proudly displayed on.
