You are bidding on a vintage Lee brand baking powder tin with its original lid. It is a 1lb 9ounces size and measures a little over 4 1/2" high and a little over 4" in diameter. On one side it shows the Lee insignia and is printed Baking Powder, packed by The H.D. Lee Company, Kansas City, MO and Salina, Kas. The other side shows a plate of homemade biscuits and has the Lee insignia and is printed Baking Powder. It is in great condition, but does need a cleaning which I will leave up to the new owner. The lid has some spots on it which I think is probably from storage over the years. The tin has some tiny surface scratches and t, some edge wear and a small rust spot on the rim and underside right below the middle of the cities names. The inside of the tin has seen some moisture and does have some surface rusting inside, but none of it has rusted all the way through. This might be able to be cleaned up with the right cleaning material. This is such a neat tin and would be a great addition to your collection. If you have any questions, please email me. Be sure to check out the several other H.D. Lee items I currently have up for auction.
