Up for auction. a quite lovely and vinatge Hadeland Norway art glass bowl. The colors of this 3 layer, cased piece are a beautiful lilac puple, creamy white opal and the outermost layer is clear crystal. The bowl measures 3.25" tall by 4.5" diamter. Signed on base, HB 53 Hadeland. No damage, 2 small scratches on outer crystal layer. The artist of this particular piece is Herman Bongard, who designed fantastic pieces for Hadeland during the years 1947-1953. The Hadelands Glasverk company itself has been designing glass since 1762 and is still active and prospering. This bowl is a stylish example of Scandinavian Modern to add to your Mid Century Modern collection! NO RESERVE!!! Thanks and good luck!
